THIS IS WHAT WE NEED GOD TO DO FOR US. You’re not going to be able to navigate your way through life on your own. It’s too complex, there are too many twists and turns. There are too many unknowns and too many uncertainties. We need guidance, help, and direction. If you were dropped off in a city you’ve never been to and were told to go to a particular location. You couldn’t just get in a car, start driving, and hope that you would arrive. YOU WOULD NEED HELP FROM AN OUTSIDE SOURCE. You either ask for directions or consult a GPS, but either way, you wouldn’t be able to do it on your own. Why do we think we can get through life just getting in the car and starting to drive, hoping we’ll get where we need to go? We have to recognize we need help and guidance along the way. [Psalms 25:4-5] “SHOW me Your ways, O Lord; TEACH me Your paths. LEAD me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You, I wait all the day.” SHOW, TEACH, LEAD...three important words in our relationship with God. The Bible is a book of guidance. Our prayer life provides us with direction and certainly the preaching of God’s word and the counsel of others, all contribute to God showing us the way that we should go. RIGHT NOW YOU PROBABLY NEED GUIDANCE IN SOME AREA OF YOUR LIFE. Often we get to a place we don’t know what to do, or which way to turn. In order for God to guide you, it has to be sought. Take advantage of His availability today and ask Him for the guidance that you need.
