  5. Never under any circumstances get mad at God. You’d be surprised...many people are. I remember preaching a sermon on this some years ago...half the church acknowledged being mad or at the very least frustrated with God. Never a good idea. PRAY, ACCEPT...MOVE FORWARD. Lots of things don’t make sense to us and this can cause us to question God; Why are You allowing this to happen? Why does so and so seem to be blessed when I know he’s evil? Why do bad things happen to good people?...and so goes the narrative. We think they’re legitimate questions...but it’s only a mask to cover our frustration with God. [Matthew 5:45b] “...for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” God is God and He will do as He wills...you need to shut down your tendency to question Him.
  6. Contend for God’s peace at all times...NO MATTER WHAT IS HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE...YOU CAN HAVE HIS PEACE. In the midst of struggle, challenge, tension, and pressure you can find a dimension of supernatural joy. We rest and rely on Him...we are on our way to heaven and remember NO MORE TEARS. Every trial is temporary and will pass. [John 14:27] “Peace I leave with you, MY PEACE I GIVE YOU; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Remember who He’s saying that to...His disciples...all, save one died a martyr's death...and before that suffered through and endured many trials. IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL THEY HAVE HIS PEACE AND THAT IS ALSO YOUR PORTION. [Hebrews 12:2] “...looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Peace, joy...from the cross? Apparently so! ...(To be cont’d)...
