We all have to...Being alive, even doing our best to do God’s will, will result in becoming frustrated. The word means to be distressed or annoyed because of an inability to change a situation or achieve something. It’s what we feel when we are being prevented from progressing or succeeding. Fixating on the wrong things can be frustrating...fixating on the right things can be frustrating...OUR FRUSTRATIONS EXIST EVERYWHERE WE TURN...SOMETHING WILL FRUSTRATE YOU TODAY...The question is what are you going to do about it?

A few things might help:

  1. Don’t obsess over things you can’t change...and the things that can change give it time to come to fruition. Not all change is going to happen in the short term.
  2. Humble yourself before God. Your problems only seem more significant than you are.  Bury your frustrations in prayer. [1 Peter 5:6-7] “Therefore humble yourselves under the MIGHTY HAND OF GOD, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for HE CARES FOR YOU.” This brings relief and you will feel and sense of the heavy burden lifted. Remember you are not alone in life. When the burden gets too heavy, God is there to help you and lighten the load.
  3. Find someone to serve. You have to get your mind off of yourself. Frustrations evaporate often, and we serve others and help them carry their burdens. [Matthew 20:28] “...just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” JESUS SERVED...ALL THE WAY TO THE CROSS AND BEYOND. He faced many frustrations; persecution, rejection, and slander...He did what He came to do and found solace in serving others. We must emulate that and do the same.
  4. Sometimes...YOU JUST HAVE TO WEATHER THE STORM. God’s objective is not always to eliminate the storm but to give you HIS STRENGTH to overcome the storm. That’s why  He gives you His strength...YOU DON’T HAVE TO RELY ON YOUR OWN. [2 Corinthians 12:9] “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” SO YOU SEE, THERE IS A WAY OF DEALING WITH LIFE’S FRUSTRATIONS...EMPOWER YOURSELF TODAY AND RELY ON GOD TO COME TO YOUR AID IN TIME OF NEED.
